European education and training programs

Erasmus+ is a European program, defined by the European Commission, which runs from 2014 until 2020 and offers the possibility of studying, training, gaining professional experience, or working as a volunteer abroad.

Based on education, training, youth, and sport, Erasmus+ is divided into 3 parts:

  • the enhancement of study mobility within Europe, at all ages and for all levels of education;
  • the strengthening of international cooperation projects and the sharing of experience amongst institutions;
  • the reinforcement of tools and instruments set up to facilitate mobility in Europe and the coordination between the Member States of the European Union in the fields of education, training, and youth.
